The VARITECTOR PU AC BS60 reliably protects electronic components and devices in larger distribution cabinets. It is snapped onto 60 mm busbar systems without tools and offers pluggable lightning and surge protection in accordance with IEC/EN 61643-11. The plug-in devices of types I+II+III and II+III are suitable for TN-C, TN-S and TT network types. The components are available as a leakage current-free version or as a version with an integrated fuse.
The VPU AC BS60 is snapped onto the 60 mm busbar without tools and is extremely compact with a width of just 36 mm.
Both type I and type II arresters are available for the common TN-C, TN-S and TT network types.
The surge protection device improves the voltage level and provides optimum electrical protection for the system.
The VPU AC BS60 is designed for market-leading 60 mm busbar systems, such as those from Wöhner and Rittal. The lightning and surge protection can also be snapped onto the busbar tool-free. This not only saves time, but also reduces the line length for the phase connection to zero. This leaves a line length of 50 cm for the connection of the PE cable.
Thanks to a locking mechanism and a removable adapter, different busbar widths and thicknesses can be used.
The pluggable arresters enable quick, easy and safe replacement in the event of maintenance. The devices also have a clearly visible status window and a pluggable remote signaling contact for reporting errors to the higher-level controller.
Especially with higher currents, no additional NH back-up fuse is required before the surge protection device. Additional installation space, installation effort and costs are saved thanks to the VPU AC II BS60 F.
